I’ve worked in both public and academic library settings over the last three years. I am interested reference service, information literacy, collection development, and providing outreach to students and library communities. I am especially interested in discovering ways that academic libraries can serve not only their student populations, but the communities in which they are located.
I have a strong interest in archives and records management as well, in both physical and digital preservation efforts. I am particularly concerned with the preservation of multimedia formats, sound and moving images, handmade books, books with movable parts, ephemera, and zines.
Additionally, I am interested in information policy — privacy, copyright, intellectual property, and collection development policies in particular.
